1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Brett Nachbor (operating the AssetManagerAI website) (“AssetManagerAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects and uses information when you visit assetmanagerai.net (the “Site”) or join our pre-launch waitlist.
This policy covers the Site only. The AssetManagerAI application, when launched, will have its own privacy policy.
2. What We Collect
From you. When you join the waitlist, we collect three pieces of information that you provide on the form: your email address, your portfolio size, and your portfolio type. If you contact us directly, we'll also receive whatever you include in that message.
Automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect limited technical information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and similar usage data, including information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see §5).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Add you to our waitlist and notify you when access opens;
- Understand the composition of our audience (such as the mix of portfolio sizes and types) to inform product decisions;
- Invite you to participate in beta testing, user research, surveys, or other early-access opportunities related to AssetManagerAI;
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others.
4. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- MailerLite, our email and waitlist platform, which receives your form submissions and stores your subscriber record. MailerLite acts as a processor on our behalf. Their data handling and storage practices are described in MailerLite's Privacy Policy.
- Other service providers that help us run the Site, such as our hosting provider. We do not currently use first-party or third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
- Legal or safety recipients, where required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
5. Cookies & Tracking
Our Site uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies. Specifically:
- Operational cookies set by MailerLite. Our waitlist form is provided by MailerLite. When you visit a page containing the form, MailerLite sets cookies used to operate the form (for example, to prevent duplicate submissions and detect spam). - Font loading. We use Google Fonts to load typography on the Site, which results in your browser making a request to Google's servers. Google may receive your IP address and User-Agent as part of this request. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.
- No analytics cookies. We do not currently use first-party or third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; rejecting non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using the Site, though it may affect form functionality. Our Site does not respond to Do Not Track browser signals because no industry consensus exists on how to interpret them.
6. Data Retention & Security
Retention. We retain waitlist email addresses and form responses until you unsubscribe or request deletion, plus a short period for operational backups. Our email provider (MailerLite) honors deletion requests within their stated timelines. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Security. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the age at which a child can consent to data processing under applicable law in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@assetmanagerai.net and we will take steps to delete it.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing us at contact@assetmanagerai.net.
State privacy law rights. Several U.S. states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and others — have enacted consumer privacy laws giving residents rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of their personal information. To the extent such laws apply to us, you may have these rights with respect to the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any right, email contact@assetmanagerai.net. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days, with a possible extension if the request is complex).
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf, subject to verification of the agent's authority.
Right to appeal. If we deny your request in whole or in part, you may appeal that decision by replying to our denial or emailing the address above. We will respond to appeals within 60 days.
Non-discrimination. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
Browser controls. You can manage cookies and tracking technologies through your browser settings.
9. Changes & Contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last Updated” date at the top and, where required by law, provide additional notice (for example, by email to waitlist subscribers).
